The position of the agriturismo Ripaiani allows to reach
easily and quickly many of the most interesting and beautiful
Umbrian cities as for example Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Orvieto,
Spoleto.
To see near the agriturismo: the Marmore waterfalls where is
possible to do rafting, Montecastello di Vibio with its smallest
theatre in the world and many other villages full of historical
monuments.
Perugia
(25 minutes), The great "Guelf strong-hold" rises up in the

Etruscan town walls.

Todi

Orvieto
(40 minutes) was once a very important Etruscan centre, then
a papal fortress.
This historical centre is is rich of monuments as the
Cathedral, the Palazzo del Popolo , the Palazzo dei Sette and
the St Patrick’s well.
To see Orvieto underground which is composed with tunnels,
caves, wells of Etruscan age.
Assisi
(40 minutes), stretches out on the slopes of the Monte
Subasio, above the plain where the Topino and Chiascio rivers
flow.
Assisi's oldest nucleus, which is protected by a defensive
apparatus made up of eight fortified entrance portals and a long
belt of town walls, is topped by two castles on peak of the
mountain.
Apart from religious buildings too important to not be
considered solely the heritage of Assisi such as the basilica of
St. Francis, the tourist can also visit the churches of St.
Clare and St.Peter.

Cascata delle Marmore (40 minutes), extolled during the
